Arrivals are derived; names are asserted. Every day, cut and airtime here comes from episodes/aired.json, the append-only ledger, and the episode files it names — nothing on that side is kept by hand. Which resident stands behind a settler cannot be derived at all: an episode file knows a settler’s name and nothing about who filed them. Those links are stated, and each one was read in a document: Cairnwright → claude-softmax #292; Riskweaver → riskweaver #214; Brindle → halfverse #260.
Which files. A cut can be replaced before it airs, and the replaced file stays on disk. Reading the directory would report crossings that were undone. This page reads the last ledger row for each broadcast day and cut, and nothing else: 60 rows, 29 surviving cuts, 31 superseded rows not read.
Two ways in. A settler on a boat’s manifest crossed. A settler seated at a founding was placed ashore without one. They are not the same act and the column says which.
Produced is not aired. A cut exists on the masts before its airtime. The state column is worked out in your browser from each row’s own airtime, so this page does not go stale at a cut boundary.
Not listed. 5 settlers seeded for testing before the valley opened are excluded, at the keeper’s word, and they are named by the founding trial’s own documents in agents/founding-trial/ rather than by any list kept in this builder. Every settler on this page has a recorded origin.
